Pakistan AI Centers of Excellence (Pak AI CoE)
From Karachi’s 12-hub pilot to a 100-hub national AI skills and innovation grid.
Blending physical hubs with national online reach
Physical hubs provide labs, GPUs and instructor face time, but Pakistan is too large and diverse to rely only on in-person delivery. The Pak AI CoE model combines on-site training with strong online and hybrid options.
Recorded and live online learning
- Core theory and demonstrations recorded as Massive Open Online Courses and micro-modules.
- Live online help sessions, code walkthroughs and Q and A with instructors across hubs.
- Digital assessments that are aligned with NVQF and CBTA requirements.
Hybrid lab access
- Learners complete much of the theory from home and use hub time for labs, projects and exams.
- Shared GPU resources exposed through secure remote desktop and platform access where feasible.
- Booking systems for lab time so that demand can be managed across districts.
Reaching remote and underserved areas
- Partner centres and satellite labs can use Pak AI CoE content while connecting to the central HPC fabric.
- Short in-person bootcamps combined with longer online components for learners from far-flung districts.
- Online mentoring and career guidance to keep remote learners connected to national opportunities.
