Building Pakistan’s national AI instructor workforce

The AI Training-of-Trainers (ToT) Academy at Pak AI CoE is the first program in Pakistan dedicated to preparing certified AI instructors for TVET institutes, universities, and training providers.

Purpose of the ToT Academy

• Standardize AI teaching quality across Pakistan.
• Provide instructors with curriculum mastery, lab pedagogy, and assessment training.
• Create a national registry of certified AI trainers in partnership with NAVTTC.

What trainers learn

• AI concepts and practical skills mapped to NVQF Levels 2–5.
• Safe AI deployment, ethics, and data governance basics.
• How to run CBTA-compliant practical assessments and portfolios.
• How to use HPC, sandboxes, and district-level labs effectively.

Five-year targets

• 1,200 certified AI trainers nationwide.
• 300 master trainers capable of regional deployment.
• Instructor pipeline for all 100+ national hubs.

AI capability collapses without instructors. The ToT Academy ensures that Pakistan’s shift to AI does not depend on a handful of specialists but on a scalable, certified, nationally distributed teaching workforce.
