Pakistan AI Centers of Excellence (Pak AI CoE)

From Karachi's 12-hub pilot to a 100-hub national AI skills and innovation grid.

A fully national AI skills and infrastructure network

The 100-hub national grid is the end-state vision of Pak AI CoE: a connected set of AI centers covering all major industrial, agricultural and population regions of Pakistan.

Coverage and distribution

  • At least one hub in every major industrial and population cluster.
  • Regional clusters linked to provincial TEVTAs and universities.
  • Specialized hubs for agriculture, climate, maritime, mining and border regions.

National infrastructure

  • Distributed but interconnected HPC clusters with regional redundancy.
  • Shared sandboxes with regional data contributions and governance.
  • Unified platform for course delivery, assessments and monitoring.

Expected impact at full scale

  • Tens of thousands of AI-skilled graduates entering the workforce each year.
  • Hundreds of AI startups and pilots serving domestic and export markets.
  • Systematic adoption of AI in health, industry, finance, agriculture and public services.
  • A coherent national AI strategy backed by physical infrastructure and talent pipelines.
